Shipping & Returns

You may return a product if it does not meet your expectations, has a manufacturing defect, was damaged during shipping, or was incorrectly sent to you. Any returned product must be currently in print and in salable condition.

  • Only products purchased from Bread of Life Books & Gifts may be returned. The returned merchandise must be in print and carried by Bread of Life Books & Gifts at the time of the return. Returns must be completed within 30 days of purchase and be accompanied by a receipt. (See Special Return Terms below).

  • Please use the Return Items form on the back of the packing slip that was included with your order.

  • If you do not have a packing slip, please complete this form and include it with your returned merchandise. Then pack your items securely and choose a return shipping method that allows for package tracking, such as UPS or insured Parcel Post and ship to our returns address.

Special Return Items:

  • Ongoing Curriculum

    • Unused ongoing curriculum must be postmarked for return before the 16th of the month for monthlies and the 16th of the second month of the quarter for quarterlies.

    • Partial returns of bundled items are not allowed. Full bundles can be returned if the returned item(s) are postmarked before the 16th of the month for monthlies and the 16th of the second month of the quarter for quarterlies.

  • Vacation Bible School

    • Unused Vacation Bible School materials must be postmarked for return by August 24 of the year.

  • January Bible Studies

    • Unused January Bible studies must be postmarked for return by May 15 of the use year.

  • Short-Term Bible Studies

    • Returns of short-term Bible studies must be completed within 30 days of purchase.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Opened CD, DVD, or kit/packs, except for VBS Sampler packs.

  • Electronic downloadable files. 

  • Made-to-order or custom products, such as an orchestration.

  • VBS event exclusive products purchased at previews and institutes. Example: mugs, tote bags, clipboards, fanny packs, etc.

  • Partial returns of bundled items are not allowed.

Shipping Charges

Shipping & Processing charges depend on the accumulative dollar value of the shippable resources in your original order, not the weight. We do NOT charge extra for your back-ordered materials.

Shipping & Processing charges are listed in the chart above. They are subject to future changes and sales taxes. Multiple orders for Ongoing Resources placed by the Due Date may merge into one order as do multiple orders placed on the same day.

Bread of Life Books & Gifts adheres to the UPS Service Guarantee. Please see below for exceptions due to weather or other unexpected impediments.*

 

International Guidelines

International shipment costs are higher, are determined by the International carrier used and weight of the shipment. International customers are responsible for any taxes, duties or brokerage fees on customer orders. Lifeway is not responsible for any delivery delays caused by Customs. Your order placed with BREAD OF LIFE BOOKS & GIFTS is an indication that you are aware and responsible for customs duties, taxes and brokerage fees for all packages shipped to your country. 

A $5 international shipping fee will be added to shipping costs.

*The UPS Service Guarantee does not apply to shipments that are delayed due to causes beyond UPS’s control including, but not limited to: the unavailability or refusal of a person to accept delivery of the shipment, acts of God, natural disasters, war risks, acts of terrorism, acts of public authorities acting with actual or apparent authority, acts or omissions of customs or similar authorities, authority of law, insufficient information provided by a customer, Hazardous Materials packages improperly offered for transport, the application of security regulations imposed by the government, or otherwise applicable to the shipment, riots, strikes or other labor disputes, civil unrest, disruptions in national or local air or ground transportation networks (including, but not limited to, UPS’s transportation network), disruption or failure of communication and information systems, and adverse weather conditions.
